Text | Henry Metcalf, aged about 48 years, died at his home near Ridgley, Sunday, of typhoid fever. Mr. Metcalf was an excellent husband, father and citizen and was held in high esteem by all who knew him. He leaves a wife and six children to mourn his death. He was a consistent member of the Free Will Baptist Church. The remains were interred in the Creason Cemetery, after appropriate services. He carried $1,500 insurance for the benefit of his family. |
