Text | GOLDEN, Mo. --- Ruth Pauline Merritt, 83, of Golden died Jan. 4, 2004, at
her home. She was born Sept. 9, 1920, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to James
William and Ida Roxie (Allison) O’Hara. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Lowell. She was a volunteer for the Braille Bible Institute. She moved to Bentonville in 1979 from Washington. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, needlework and reading. Her husband, Myron F. Merritt, preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, two daughters, one brother, 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church in Lowell. Burial will be at 1 p.m. in Rogers Cemetery. Family and friends will gather from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Callison-Lough Funeral Service in Rogers. Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church School Fund. |
