| Text | Ruby Marshall Melahn, 82,
of Cassville, died yesterday, August 29, at South Barry County Hospital in
Cassville. Mrs. Melahn was born April 18, 1919, in Barry County, the daughter of William D. and Joan (David) Roller. She had been employed at the Fulton State Hospital in Fulton and moved back to Cassville in 1981. She was a member of the Church of God Holiness in Cassville. She married Joe Marshall and he preceded her in death February 2, 1962. She married J. C. Melahn on March 16, 1968, and he preceded her in death November 6, 1997. Survivors include one son, one daughter, two step-sons, nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Marshall; and two sisters. Services will be 10 a.m. tomorrow, August 31, at Fohn Chapel in Cassville with Brother Doyle Russell officiating. Burial will be in Horner Cemetery in Cassville under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, August 30, at the funeral home. |
