| Text | Thelma (Long) May, 74 of Cassville, formerly of Wellington, Kan., died Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at her home in Cassville. She was born on Nov. 10, 1931 in Lincoln, Arkansas. She was married on March 3, 1950. To this union 4 children were born. She worked at the Wellington Hospital in the kitchen for a number of years before retiring to Cassville. Preceding her in death are her parents, three sisters, one brother and two sons-in-law, Don Johnson and Jerry Eady. Graveside funeral services were held Friday at the Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Wellington, Kansas. A memorial has been established with Community Hospices of America in Monett or the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Cassville. |
