Text | Donald E. Mattingly, 71, of Exeter, died February 2 at his home. Mr. Mattingly was born May 17, 1930, in Exeter, the son of Wilmer and Artie Fern (Ryan) Mattingly. He had been a truck driver for EFCO Corporation. He was a member of Ozark Steam Engine Association, Shoal Creek Tractor and Truck Club, and the First Baptist Church in Exeter. He was an Army veteran of the Korean conflict. He married Olena Killman on June 29, 1956, and she preceded him in death. Survivors include two sons, one daughter, one brother, three sisters, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Services will be 10:30 a.m. tomorrow, February 5, at Williamson Chapel in Cassville. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Cassville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, February 4, at the funeral home. |
