Text | Word was received in Cassville last week of the death of Hank Martin at Salt Lake City, Utah. Hank was the second son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Martin, and a brother of C. C. Martin of Kansas City and W. H. Martin of Pioneer. Mr. Martin spent several years in Mexico in the railroad service as fireman and engineer. His eyes getting bad he resigned his work and returned to Cassville, remaining here a few years. In the early nineties he went to Salt Lake and made that his home until death. He had never married. During his residence in Cassville Hank made many friends and it will be with regret that they will hear of his death. His remains are expected to arrive in Cassville today, Wednesday, to be placed beside those of his father and mother in Oak Hill Cemetery. |
