| Text | Mrs. Charlotte Marshall, an old and respected citizen, and a widow of the late Allen Marshall, passed away Monday night at the home of her son Henderson Marshall, near Purdy, after a few days illness of pneumonia. The deceased was born in Virginia and came to this county when young in life, and settled on Stone's Prairie. She was about 85 years of age and was a pioneer citizen in that section of the county. She is survived by three children, Mrs. Morrow of Purdy, Henderson and James Marshall in the vicinity of Purdy. |
