| Text | Mrs. Loretta Mahurin, 67, passed away at her home in the Jacket community near Garfield, Ark., January 20. She was born Feb. 8, 1892. Mrs. Mahurin had been sick for seven years. She is survived by seven children, who are Reuben Mahurin, Trona, CA, Mrs. Lois Fletcher and Ora Mahurin, Rt. 2, Garfield, AR, Woodrow Mahurin, Aurora, Marshall Mahurin, Wheaton, Mrs. Loonie Delton, Bentonville AR; sisters, Mrs. Emma Young, Mrs. Ruth Tedro and Mrs. Georgia Hunt, Pierce City; brothers, Lee Hilkuer, Richie and Him Hilkuer, Pierce City. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at Pea Ridge Pentecostal Church. Bro. Bill Lawson officiated. Burial was made in the Dent Cemetery, under direction of the Miller-Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge. Research Note: Died in Jan. 1960 handwritten on newspaper obit. Her brothers were named Hilker in this obit. Her maiden name was Hilker. |
