| Text | MONETT, MO Clara Lela Magnin, 78, Monett, died at 12:04 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 1996, at Cox-South Hospital, Springfield, after a sudden illness. Mrs. Magnin was born Aug. 19, 1918, in Cassville. She retired in 1983 as an elementary school teacher in Monett. She previously taught at McDowell, Clay Hill and Cedar Bluff schools. She was a member of Retired Teachers Association and Waldensian Presbyterian Church, Monett. Her first husband, Ray Terry, preceded her in death in 1945. She married Alfred Magnin on May 30, 1976, in Monett. Survivors include a son, a brother, five sisters, three grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. |
