| Text | Pvt. Alvin C. Lowery, who was reported missing in action last September, was killed in action, according to a later report received by Alvin’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lowery of Monett, from the War Department. Alvin, who was a splendid young man, is survived by his wife and two sons who live in California and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lowery, long time near Monett residents. He was stationed in France in the Infantry. |
