| Text | Lois Long, age 99, of Rocky Comfort, died at 8:40 p.m. September 25 at Medicalodge in Neosho. Mrs. Long was born March 14, 1901, in Rocky Comfort, the daughter of Sam and Dora (Dickins) McClure. She had lived in Rocky Comfort most of her life and was a member of Prosperity Baptist Church in Rocky Comfort. She married Arvel Long on February 1, 1917, in Rocky Comfort, and he preceded her in death March 23, 1999. She was preceded in death by two daughters. Services will be 2 p.m. tomorrow, September 28, at Wheaton Funeral Home with Rev. Hugh Higgs officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Comfort Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today, September 27, at the funeral home. |
