| Text | Jane Long, 97, of Monett, died at 11:15 a.m. yesterday, November 1, at Lacoba Nursing Home in Monett. Mrs. Long was born March 23, 1902, in Monett, the daughter of John and Carolyn Jessito Moriondo. She had lived in the Kings Prairie-Monett area her entire life, was a homemaker, and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Monett. She married John E. Long on April 21, 1927, in Monett, and he preceded her in death March 5, 1959. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, November 4, at Monett IOOF Cemetery with Rev. Mark Mildren officiating under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home of Monett. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. tomorrow, November 3, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the church.
