| Text | Lorene Long, 71, Rocky Comfort, died at 2:38 a.m. Monday at St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield, after a short illness. Mrs. Long was born March 30, 1923, at Black Fork, Ark. She had lived in the Rocky Comfort area most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Prosperity Southern Baptist Church, Rocky Comfort. She married Marcell Long on Dec. 28, 1940. He survivies. Additional survivors include two daughters in Rocky Comfort; two brothers (last names Woods); two sisters; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Prosperity Southern Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Rocky Comfort Cemetery. Friends may call after noon today at the Wheaton (MO) Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today. |
