Text | #1. Mrs. Celia Long died Saturday morning, Jan. 22 of old age. She was buried at the Rocky Comfort cemetery Sunday. She leaves a host of friends and relatives to mourn her loss. #2. Aunt Celia Long, mother of John and I. A. Long of this place, died at the home of her son, Chris Long four miles southwest of here Saturday. Death was mostly the result of old age and diseases incident thereto. She was a member of the Christian church of this place and a devoted Christian woman. Funeral services were held in the church where Eld. Crider made a very appropriate talk. Interment was made in the Rocky Comfort cemetery - Independent. Research Note: These are 2 separate news items in the same paper, apparently. The 3 sons mentioned are the only children except one daughter who moved to Washington state who survived to adulthood.
