| Text | Josephine R. Loewen, 98, of Cassville, died April 20 at the Barry County Care Center in Cassville. Mrs. Loewen was born April 30, 1900, in McDonald County, the daughter of John Thomas and Mahala Ann (Schell) Talburt. She had farmed in Washburn, and was a member of the Church of Christ and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She had previously lived in Purdy. She married Phillip S. Loewen, and he preceded her in death. Survivors include one sister of Washburn. She was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. tomorrow, April 23, at Washburn Prairie Cemetery with Ken West officiating under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. |
