| Text | Nadine (Long) LipTrap, 74, of Canon City, Colorado, formerly of Monett, passed away on Friday, May 21. Mrs. LipTrap was born August 3, 1924 in Monett, the daughter of Marshall and Ethel Shepherd Long. She married George LipTrap, and he preceded her in death. She is survived by four sons, one daughter, 18 grandchildren, 34 grandchildren, one niece, Kathy Hancock of Monett; and one nephew, John Long of Monett; as well as several cousins in the Monett area. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marguerite Terrel and Evelyn Morris; and one brother, Bob Long of Monett. Services were held in Florence, Colorado on Tuesday, May 25, with burial in the Union Highlands Cemetery in Florence under the direction of the Charles Anthony Funeral Home of Florence, Colorado. |
