| Text | A four year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Linn who lived in McDonald township was drowned in Flat Creek, Wednesday afternoon of last week. At the time when the sad incident occurred Mrs. Linn was at the creek gathering water cress, it is reported. She left the home with the child in the care of other members of the family. During her absence the child went to the creek but at different place than where the mother was located. The child's body was not found until about eight o'clock that night. Burial took place Friday at the Stubblefield Cemetery. |
