| Text | Goldie M. (Long) Linebarger, 88, of Kansas City, formerly of Monett, died yesterday, August 22, in New Mark Care Center in Kansas City. Mrs. Linebarger was born June 14, 1912, in Eagle Rock, the daughter of Alfred and Maude (Carroll) Haddock. She was a graduate of Exeter High School and spent much of her life in Monett. She was employed with Monett MFA for 15 years, retiring in 1975. She lived the past three and a half years in Kansas City. She was a member of the XYZ Club, Monett Senior Citizens Center, and Waldensian Presbyterian Church south of Monett. She married Henry Long on May 21, 1946, in Columbia, Kansas, and he preceded her in death in 1969. She married John Linebarger on September 26, 1979, in Monett, and he preceded her in death in 1981. Services will be 10 a.m. tomorrow, August 24, at Waldensian Presbyterian Church with Rev. Wade Ditty officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Cassville. |
