| Text | Erma Linebarger, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Elsworth Linebarger of near Butterfield, died at a hospital in Springfield, following an operation for appendicitis. Erma was born Nov. 8, 1914. Died on her birthday, Nov. 8, 1927. Age 13 years. She was a granddaughter of Mr. & Mrs. E. B. Linebarger and Mr. & Mrs. Sig Whittington. A very large congregation of neighbors and relatives gathered at the New Hope Church on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 9, where the funeral services were conducted by Chas Vanzandt. Burial in the Clark Cemetery under the direction of the Blankenship and Wessel Undertaking Service.
