Obit For Maggie Lee (Pulley) Ledenham

Text Maggie Lee Pulley was born June 5, 1885 at Pioneer, Barry County Mo. She passed away at the home of her daughter in Pittsburg, Kans., January 13, 1940, at the age of 54 years, 7 months and eight days. She was taken in a Koon ambulance to the home of her daughter in Pittsburg, on January 12th, and died the following day.

She was united in marriage to Albert Perry Ledenham, on November 30, 1902. To the union six children were born, five daughters and one son. The family had lived near Washburn for many years.

Mrs. Ledenham was converted at an early age and united with the Washburn Baptist church, and lived a devoted Christian life. She was highly respected by her many friends and neighbors.

She is survived by her husband and the following children; Mrs. Nellie Mosier of Pittsburg, Kan.; Mrs. Olin Brattin of Kuna Idaho, Pharis Lois and Gladys at home. One child died in infancy. Also surviving are the following relatives; her mother, Mrs. N.R. Pulley of Pineville; two brothers Clarence of Pineville; and Earl Pulley of Rock Springs, Wyo., and one sister Mrs. L.R. Smith of Pineville, and a large circle of friends and neighbors.

The Koon Funeral Directors conveyed her body from Pittsburg to the church at Washburn, where funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon, Jan. 14, 1940 by Rev. Charles Vanzandt. Burial in Maplewood Cemetery at Exeter, in charge of the Koon Funeral Services - Contributed.
