| Text | Died at his father's home near Liberty Hill, Thursday, March 2, Joseph F. Layton, son of Seaborn and Nancy Layton, age 20 years and 4 months. He was born and raised in this community and leaves a weeping mother, father, sister, and three brothers with many friends to mourn the loss, which we hope is His eternal gain. Surrounded by loving friends and relatives, his body was gently laid to rest in the Concord Cemetery, after services by Rev. Grimes. |
