Text | Reba Mae Lawson, 86, of Cassville, Mo., died April 28, 2005, at the Red Rose Inn nursing home. She was born March 21, 1919, in Elkins to Howell and Cora Bell (King) Ferris. She graduated from Elkins High School in 1938 and was a member of the school’s championship basketball team. She married Dayton Lawson on June 20, 1928, and raised her family in Bentonville. She enjoyed being a homemaker and a gardener. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Bentonville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dayton Lawson. Survivors include two sons, one daughter, one sister, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery in Rogers. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Callison-Lough Funeral Chapel in Bentonville. Memorial contributions may be made in the name of Reba Lawson to Bethel Baptist Church, 2907 North Walton Blvd., Bentonville, Ar. 72712. Arrangements are under the direction of Callison-Lough Funeral Service. |
