Headline Aged Lady Dies
Text Mrs. N.C. Spangler Lawson, 85 years old, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.M. Williams, near Osa Thursday morning of last week, from an illness which had kept her confined to her home for several months.

She was born in Knox County, Kentucky, August 13, 1841. She was married to Rufus Spangler Jan. 17, 1866 an to this union were born 7 children, 6 of whom are living and who are: Mrs. J.M. Williams, Crane; Mrs. Martha Bassett, Pasadena Cal.; E.R. Spangler, Stockton, C.E. Spangler, Aurora; A.D. Spangler, Neosho.

Her husband died 21 years ago and on Oct. 7, 1936. She was married to John C. Lawson, who survives her.
