Text | Belle Lawson, 95, Seligman, Missouri, died at 3:04 a.m. Wednesday, at a nursing home in Cassville after an extended illness. Mrs. Lawson was born November 5, 1899 at Washburn. She lived in Barry County most of her life. She was a member of Mission Baptist Church. She married Wyatt Eugene Lawson on September 24, 1919. He preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters, Hazel Williams, Seligman, and Lois DeWitt, Hobbs, New Mexico; a brother, Jeff Ross, Washburn, Missouri, nine grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; and 34 great great grandchildren. Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday at Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. The Rev. Jean Latshaw and the Rev. Jerry Yarnall will officiate. Burial will be in King Cemetery, Washburn, Missouri. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. |
