Text | Mrs. Naomi Esther Laughlin, 89 years old, died at 11:30 o'clock Sunday morning at Cardwell Memorial Hospital at Stella where she had been a patient for two days. She had been in ill health two years. Mrs. Laughlin was born at Wheaton in 1875 and was a member of the Roller Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, Wyatt Laughlin of Riverton, Kansas, seven daughters, Mrs. Ruth Ellis of Pineville, Mrs. Esther Schell of Washburn, Missouri, Mrs. Rena Lawson of Ramona, Oklahoma, Mrs. Rachel Bunch of Webb City, Mrs. Hattie Schell of Delhi, California, Mrs. Georgia Camp of Anderson, Missouri and Mrs. Willa Bowman of Southwest City, a brother, Calvin Moore of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, two sisters, Mrs. Rosa Happy of Camden, Missouri and Mrs. Georgia Brown of Chetopa, Kansas, 22 grandchildren and 42 great- grandchildren. The family will be at the home of Mrs. Georgia Camp, Anderson, Route 3. The Downey-Woodard Mooney funeral home will be in charge of the funeral services. Services for Mrs. Naomi Esther Laughlin, 89, will be this afternoon at the Roller Methodist Church. The Rev. Dean Royce will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Downey-Woodard Mooney Funeral Home. Active pallbearers will be Clint Schell, Dwight Laughlin, Morris Ellis, Jim Bunch, Bill Schell and J.C. Schell. |
