Text | William Edgar Long, 300 West First Street, died in a local hospital on Oct. 28 at the age of 36. He was a truck driver for Havre Ready-Mix concrete Co. Mr. Long was born on January 23, 1925 in Hutchinson, Kansas. He came to Havre in April of 1959 from Livingston. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles number 166 and was a Navy veteran. Survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Long of Jenkins, Missouri; brother James and George of Hutchinson; Lloyd, Los Angeles, Calif. John, New York; David, Arizona, Harold Tulsa Okla.; Gary in the U.S. Army and Earl Jenkins, Mo. Also surviving is his sister Mrs. Roland (Betty) Bartel, Eugene, Oregon and his uncle Ted Long of Havre. Funeral services will be conducted at the Holland and Bonine Funeral Home on Thursday, Nov. 2 at 10a.m. |
