| Text | Lloyd Ernest Long, 78, died Nov. 12, 2005.
He was born July 31, 1927, in Hutchinson, the son of Charles and Zuma (Weatherly) Long. He grew up in the Medora and Buhler area and attended school there. He worked at the Strawboard in Hutchinson until going to California in the mid-1950s. He was a retired master maintenance mechanic.
He was a World War II veteran. On Dec. 22, 1945, he married Inez Maye Wiseley. She survives. Other survivors include: a son; three daughters; a brother; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services were Nov. 18 in California. Rose Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary, Whittier, Calif., handled the arrangements. |
