| Text | Hubert "Al" W. King, 86, of Monett, died at 2:59 p.m. yesterday, May 9, at Monett Health Care Center. Mr. King was born September 25, 1912, in Frisco City, Alabama, the son of Lex and Nina B. King. He married Betty Michael on December 29, 1961, in Thornton, Colorado, and she survives. Additional survivors include two step-daughters, Denise Luedtke of Wichita, Kansas, and Pamala Binder of Hays, Kansas; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Private family services and burial was be held at a later date under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home of Monett. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today, May 10, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Monett Health Care Center. |
