| Text | Vivian Lombard Kappel, 76, of Joplin, formerly of Monett, died at 8:17 a.m. yesterday, August 18, 2003 at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin following an apparent heart attack. She was born December 12, 1926, in Seligman, and was a daughter of James William and Jewel (Mahurin) Lombard. She was a homemaker and a member of Fidelity Jesus' Name Church. Her husband, Cloyd Marvin Kappel, preceded her in death in 1991. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 22, at Noel Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Farmer officiating under the direction of Parker Mortuary of Joplin. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 21, at the funeral home. |
