| Text | Pfc Carl Junge of Shell Knob, who was reported missing in action on Siapan, was killed in action July 7, according to information received by his mother, Mrs. Mary Junge of Shell Knob. A letter was received from his Chaplain and a buddy of Carl’s by Mrs. Junge, which told of this happening. Carl was in the 105th Infantry and saw much service in the Pacific. |
