| Text | Wanda Eileen Jones, age 84, of Monett, died at 11:10 a.m. August 26 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield. Mrs. Jones was born October 1, 1915, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, and was a daughter of Morgan Henry and Etta Ethel (Kennedy) Williams. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Monett. She married Melbourne E. Jones on August 25, 1935, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, and he preceded her in death May 14, 1979. Survivors include one son, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, James Jones. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. tomorrow, August 29, at Oakdale Cemetery in Monett with Rev. Clif Crockett officiating under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home of Monett. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today, August 28, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Loaves and Fishes. |
