Text | #1. MONETT- Mrs. Lucinda (Lucy) Jane Jones, 78, of Monett, died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Cass County Memorial Hospital, Harrisonville, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Jones had been a resident of Monett for the last 16 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church here. She is survived by one son, Thomas, of Fort Worth, Tex.; three daughters, Mrs. Ollie Davidson, of Springfield, Mrs. Gertrude Davidson, of Harrisonville, and Mrs. Jessie Wright, of Wichita, Kan.; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be announced by Mercer-Moss-York of Monett. Saturday Monett Resident Died Yesterday At Harrisonville Funeral services for Mrs. Lucinda (Lucy) Jones, of Monett, who died at 8:30 a.m. yesterday in the Cass County Memorial Hospital at Harrisonville following a lengthy illness, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Mercer-Moss-York Chapel with Rev. M. E. Fitzpatrick and Rev. Hugh Higgs officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter under the direction of Mercer-Moss-York Funeral Home. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, George Jones, in 1954 and at that time moved from Exeter to Monett. She was member of the First Baptist Church here. Surviving are one son, Thomas Jones of Fort Worth, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Noah (Ollie) Davidson of Springfield, Mrs. Elmer (Gertrude) Davidson of Harrisonville, and Mrs. Glen (Jessie) Wright of Wichita, Kansas; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
