| Text | James D. "Cotton" Jones, 51, of Wheaton, died September 23 at his mother's home. Mr. Jones was born June 25, 1948, in Stella, the son of Clyde W. and Myrtle Hendrix Jones. He was educated in Barry County and had been employed with a poultry plant. Survivors include one son, of Appleton, Wisconsin; two daughters, of Bentonville, Arkansas, and of Neosho; his mother, of Wheaton; three brothers, of Wheaton, of Washburn, and of Granby; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Jones, on December 21, 1970. Graveside services were 2 p.m. September 25 at Union Cemetery in Stella with Rev. Steve Higgs officiating under the direction of McQueen Funeral Home of Wheaton. |
