Text | Frank L. Jones, 83, of Shell Knob, died February 16, 2007. Mr. Jones was born April 28, 1923, in Harrison, Arkansas. He taught music, managed theaters for Commonwealth Amusement Corporation, was a bank marketing consultant for three years, volunteered at mobile missions, and ran campgrounds for the Corps of Engineers in Missouri for 12 years. He volunteered at the L. U. C. Boys Ranch, served on the board of directors for the Shell Knob Senior Citizens, and was a member of the Barry County Tax Board administering the property tax for services to senior citizens. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of Shrine Temple, and an elder in the Presbyterian Church. He married Mary Lee Wasson on July 2, 1944, in Harrison, Arkansas. Additional survivors include one daughter, one son, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. The body has been cremated under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Shell Knob. Memorial services were 4 p.m. yesterday, February 18, at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Shell Knob. |
