Text | Thomas Green Johnson, 81, father of Mrs. Henry Counts of Monett, died at his home in Exeter Saturday. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the home, conducted by Rev. Charles Vanzandt. Burial took place in Maplewood cemetery at Exeter directed by Barr-Blankenship. Mr. Johnson was born January 16, 1853 near Huntsville, Ark. His wife died January 1, 1931. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Henry Counts of Monett and Mrs. Ida Neill of Purdy; and by one son, Garland Johnson of Neosho. He also leaves 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Research Note: Missouri Death Cert. # 41880.
