| Text | Died, Feb. 26th, five miles southwest of Purdy in the Clark district, Mrs. Mary Adeline Jennings, wife of Chas S. Jennings. Mrs. Jennings was born March 23, 1840 at Buffalo, N. Y., being 50 years 11 months, and 3 days old. She was married July 12, 1868, at Twin Lake, Iowa. Eight children were born to them, five of who survive, one son and four daughters. She was converted and joined the United Brethren at the age of seventeen. The remains were laid to rest in Mount Pleasant Cemetery after services conducted by Brother Combs. |
