Text | Emery M. Jennings, 82, of Cassville, died at 6:43 a.m. May 16 at Carroll Regional Medical Center in Berryville, Arkansas, following a long illness. Mr. Jennings was born October 21, 1916, in Adamsville, Pennsylvania, the son of Harold J. and Erma (Berlin) Jennings. He was a dairy tanker driver, retiring in 1989, and moved to Cassville in 1997. He married Irene Miller in December of 1970, and she preceded him in death in June of 1989. Survivors include one son, Ronald Jennings of Berryville, Arkansas; one daughter, Carol Hurley of Berryville, Arkansas; one step-son, Grady Miller of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; one step-daughter, Joan Sales of Rock Island, Illinois; three sisters, Helen Beres of Davie, Florida, Shirley Bruce of Orange Park, Florida, and Nancy Jamison of Arlington, Texas; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one step-daughter and one sister. Services will be 11 a.m. tomorrow, May 19, at Williamson Chapel in Cassville with Darryl Henson officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Meadville, Pennsylvania, under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Cassville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, May 18, at the funeral home. |
