| Text | Iva M. Jeffrey, 81, of Eagle Rock, died October 15 at Carroll Regional Medical Center in Berryville, Arkansas. Mrs. Jeffrey was born March 10, 1918, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of John and Decema (Wilson) Wright. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Golden. She worked 25 years at Cudahy Packing Plant in Wichita, Kansas, and moved to Eagle Rock in 1975. She and her husband owned and operated Eagle Rock Cafe from 1978 to 1983 when they retired. She married George Edward Jeffrey on February 4, 1950, in Crawfordsville, Indiana, and he preceded her in death January 22, 1999. Survivors include one son, of Berryville, Arkansas; one daughter, of Eagle Rock; seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. tomorrow, October 19, at the First Baptist Church in Golden with Rev. Bill Dudley officiating. Burial will be in Viney Cemetery in Golden under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, October 18, at the funeral home. |
