| Text | Troy James, 79, Shell Knob, died at 2:58 a.m. Monday, January 17, 1983, at Springdale, Ark., Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient one week. Mr. James, born August 28, 1903, at Shell Knob, was a lifelong resident of this community. He was a retired farmer. He married Ruby Hardman on March 13, 1930, at Berryville, Ark. Surviving are a daughter; a son; a sister; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services were at 10 a.m. today, (Wednesday) at First Baptist Church, Shell Knob, with Rev. Max Edmondson, Rev. Wayne Writer and Rev. Jess Higgs officiating. Burial was in Painter Cemetery.
