| Text | Mrs. Celia B. Jackson, age 89 years passed away at a La Verne rest home Nov. 30, after an extended illness. She was a native of Flatcreek, MO, and had made her home in the La Habra area since 1938. She was a member of the Methodist Church, the Order of Eastern Star and the Rebeccas.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Olive J. Morgan of 2015 E. Kanola Rd., with whom she made her home, one son, Leslie Jackson, Harrison, Ark., a sister, Mrs. Ada Griffith, Montebello, four grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Services were conducted in Monett, MO, Wednesday, and interment was in the family plot at Kings Prairie. Mrs. Morgan accompanied her mother to Missouri. Coleman Mortuary was in charge of arrangements here. Research Note: Celia Belle is buried in Kings Prairie Cemetery. Born Jan. 9, 1870. Died Nov. 30, 1957 in La Habra. CA. Wife of Joseph A. Jackson |
