| Text | Mrs. Dorotha Ann Hyde, 91, of Holiday Island, Arkansas, formerly of Monett, Missouri, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Saturday, August 7, 2004, at Eureka Spring Rehab following a short illness. She was born on September 17, 1912, in South Fork, Missouri, the daughter of the late John T. and Viola Richie Briscoe. She was a homemaker, attended the Countryside Christian Church in Monett, and the Chapel of Cross Baptist Church in Holiday Island, Arkansas. Dorotha was also a member of the Eastern Star, Rebekah Lodge, and the VFW Auxiliary in Monett. She married Ray Mart Hyde in 1929 in West Plains, Missouri, and he preceded her in death on May 19, 1996. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 11, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Countryside Christian Church in Monett with Rev. Larry Lowery and Rev. Bruce Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Monett IOOF Cemetery, Monett, under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 10, 2004, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. |
