Text | Charles Richard "Chuck" Hutinett, 69, of Exeter, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 10, in Cassville.
He was born Jan. 19, 1941, in Chanute, KS, the son of Frank and Bertha Lillian (Rodgers) Hutinett. He attended St. Patrick's School and Chanute High School. From 1958 to 1962, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps. In 1964, he married Patricia Miles and they had three daughters, Melissa, Malinda and Mary. They later divorced. He worked for over 30 years in the southeast Kansas oil field industry and later retired after 15 years with NuWay Industries. In 2004, he moved from Chanute to Exeter. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #533, Wheaton; Mirza Shrine Temple, Pittsburg, KS; and American Legion Post #172, Chanute, Kansas. Survivors include: his mother, Bertha Lillian Hutinett, of Chanute, KS; daughters, of Cassville, of Buffalo, NY; of Olathe, KS; brother, of Chanute, KS; sister, of Cassville; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, brother Francis H. "Corky" Hutinett, and sisters, Barbara Jean and Mary Patricia. Graveside services with military honors will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter, under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Doyle Russell will conduct the services. Memorials can be directed to Shriners Hospitals for Children, St. Louis, MO, or Mercy St. John's Hospice Care, Aurora. |
