Obit For Lou Katie (Cole) Hutchinson

Text In memory of our loving and affectionate mother, kind and devoted sister, Lou Katie Hutchinson. She is the daughter of Francis Madison and Mary Cole, born near Petersburg, Lincoln County, Tenn., January 10, 1851 and departed this life at her home near McNatt, McDonald County, Missouri Nov. 30, 1928.

She was married to N. T. Hutchison Jan. 14, 1869. To this union seven children were born: Ida, who died Nov. 17, 1871, J. E. and W. N. of Lamar, Colo., Mrs. Claude Stanley, Oakland, Calif., Mrs. Deb Walker of Pueblo, Colo., and J. H., and Mollie of the home address.

She leaves besides her children, eleven grand children, five brothers and three sisters, Monroe Cole of Miami, Okla., Mrs. Florence Epps of Fayetteville, Tenn., S. T. Cole of Stark City, T. M. Cole, Fairland, Okla., A. M. Cole of Miami, Okla., Mrs. Sallie Garren, Miami, Okla., Mrs. Ella Kenney, Rocky Comfort, Mo. and W. T. Cole of Rochester, Wash. Besides a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her departure.

She was converted early in life and lived a devoted Christian life.

While her suffering was intense during her last days with us, she was always patient and pleasant to all who faithfully cared for her.

The funeral was preached by Rev. James Gold and the body laid to rest in the Macedonia Cemetery by her husband, who preceded her to the better world four years ago. The funeral was under the direction of the Pogue Undertaking Co., of Wheaton.
