| Text | Jessie Myrl Hutchens, 87, of Cassville, died August 18 at St. John's
Regional Health Center in Springfield. Mrs. Hutchens was born January 28, 1918, near Cassville, the daughter of Oliver Perry and Carrie (Edmondson) Brock. She and her husband operated Crystal Caverns in the early 1970s and owned and operated Hutchens Mobile Home Park. She was a 1936 graduate of Cassville High School. She was a member of the Cassville Garden Club and First Baptist Church in Cassville. She married Herman Hutchens on November 11, 1939, and he preceded her in death December 30, 2004. Survivors include one brother, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Roger Brock, Gene Brock, and Don Brock; and two sisters, Georgia Sisney and Mary Davidson. Services were 11 a.m. today, August 22, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville with Rev. John Duncan and Rev. O. V. Dodson officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville. |
