Headline FUNERAL SERVCES ROLLAND HUTCHENS
Text Funeral Services for Rolland Hutchens, native Cassville resident and well known business man, who passed away following injuries received in an auto accident on highway 44, near Exeter, were held at the Culver Funeral Home, Tuesday afternoon conducted by Rev. Chas Siler of Cassville.

Rolland was born and reared in Cassville and his entire life has been lived here. He was 46 years old and a son of the late Mr. And Mrs. Marshall Hutchens long time and substantial citizens. His excellent mother preceded him in death four months ago.

He is survived by his splendid wife Maxine (Babb) Hutchens, five brothers, Charles of Springfield, John, Urt, Will and Bob all of Cassville and five sisters, who are: Minnie, Jennie Mamie, Lottie, all of whom reside at distant points except Mrs. Ola Burks who lived in this city.

For the past several years Rolland had been active in business affairs and was successful. He devoted much time to his farm at the outskirts of the city where he raised livestock. He was also an admirer of saddle horses and enjoyed giving them attention.

He was one of original promoters of the Cassville Airport Association and a member of the board of directors. He was also an active member of the Chamber of Commerce.

The funeral was one of the largest held for sometime and many beautiful floral emblems were received by the bereaved family.

Rolland had many friends who were shocked by his untimely passing. To Mrs. Hutchens and other relatives, the Democrat extends sincere sympathy in their sad hour of bereavement.
