Text | Herman Marshall Hutchens, 88, of Cassville,
died December 30 at St. John's Hospital-Cassville. Mr. Hutchens was born July 1, 1916, in Washburn, the son of William and Eugena Eidson Hutchens. He was a retired contractor and owned and operated Hutchens Mobile Home Park for several years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Cassville where he was a Deacon. He married Jessie Brock on November 11, 1939. Additional survivors include two sisters and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters including Marsha Farwell, and six brothers including Jethro, Clifton, Tony, Maynard, and Evan Hutchens. Services were 10:30 a.m. today, January 3, at Williamson Chapel in Cassville with Rev. John Duncan and Rev. O. V. Dodson officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Cassville. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the church. |
