Text | Olive Patient Hurlbut was born March 22, 1839 in Lake County, Ohio; died Jan. 10, 1924 at the age of 81 years, 9 months and 18 days. She was married
to Delos B. Hurlbut August 12, 1860 in Kenosha County Wisconsin. To this
union were born seven children, Mrs. Ida Bean, Gerald Hurlbut, and W. C.
Hurlbut, all of Bisbee, Arizona. F. H. Hurlbut of Oklahoma and Joseph
Hurlbut, Mrs. Nellie Tarvin and Mrs. Edna Plater of Wheaton. She is also
survived by her husband with whom she had lived for 64 years. They moved from Wisconsin to Newton County, Mo. in 1868 and five years later moved to the farm at the edge of our city where they lived until the call for a higher life came. Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at the Methodist church by Rev. J. S. McQueen. |
