Text | Walter Hultgren, 73, Monett, passed away at 4:24 a.m. Friday in St. Johns Regional Health Center, Springfield, after an illness of six weeks.
Born Feb.13, 1914 in Verona, he moved to Monett from Bountiful, Utah, eight and
one half years ago, where he was a tool designer for Chrysler Corp
He retired in 1976 and was a member of the First United Methodist Church,
Monett. He was married to Sylvia McIntosh on March 14, 1942 in Palms, Calif. and
she survives. Other survivors include two sons, Howard and Glen Hultgren, both of Salt Lake City, Utah; two brothers, Carl Hultgren, Monett, and Joe Hultgren, Springfield; and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Frederick Zahn officiating. Burial will be in Monett IOOF Cemetery under the direction of Bennett-Wormington. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund. |
