| Text | Lon Hudson, 86, of Aurora, died
December 23 at St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield. Mr. Hudson was born February 2, 1913, in Cape Fair, the son of Amos and Bess (Henson) Hudson. He was a lifelong area resident and a member of the Church of Christ in Cape Fair. He was married to Reatha Oliver Hudson, and she preceded him in death. He was married to Opal Foster Hudson, and she preceded him in death. Survivors include one son, two daughters, one sister, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Royle Hudson; and one sister, Lucille Williams. Services will be 1 p.m. tomorrow, December 28, at the Church of Christ in Cape Fair. Burial will be in Old Carney Cemetery in Jenkins under the direction of Manlove-Stumpff Funeral Home of Crane. Memorials may be made to the Fair Haven Children's Home in Strafford. |
