| Text | Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the Clio
church for Mrs. Hannah Hudson who passed away on Friday, June 8, at the age of
85 years. A daughter of the late Edward and Jane Doty, she was born near Jenkins
on March 26, 1871. On November 1, 1891, she was married to William Hudson, who preceded her in death in 1941. A son and a daughter passed away in infancy and one daughter, Myrtle, died in 1918. Survivors include six sons: Sherman of the home; Vester of Jenkins; Earl and Walter of Kansas City; Woodrow of Grandview, and Harold of Verona; eight grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, and one brother, W. E. Doty of Jenkins. Services were conducted by Bro. Oliver Coones, with burial in the Clio cemetery under direction of Culver's. |
